Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Sounds Off on HBO’s Profitable Time


“My response to the present has nothing to do with how I am portrayed,” Kareem stated. “I am 75, of us, and have been coping with constructive and unfavorable descriptions of me for 55 years and I way back accepted that it is simply a part of the movie star gig. There’s little or no that anybody can say about me—whether or not it is true or false—that can have an effect on my life.”

Might all of us aspire to be as zen as Kareem.

He isn’t the one Lakers legend who has spoken out in opposition to Profitable Time, both.
