Jonathan Scott and girlfriend Zooey Deschanel have been busy renovating their new 1938 historic dwelling in Los Angeles for practically two years, and whereas the challenge is not fairly full, the Property Brothers star is already planning for the dwelling’s standout entryway.
In the Spring 2022 difficulty of Drew + Jonathan Reveal, Jonathan described the two story staircase—which they transformed from tight, spiral stairs with a single story ceiling—as, “The right backdrop for tacky tiered household vacation photographs.”
Maybe considering of Zooey’s children Elsie, 5, Charlie, 4—whom the New Woman star shares with ex-husband Jacob Pechenik—the 43-year-old mentioned that new stairs will likely be “strong white oak treads and white risers, with an iron railing and a Moroccan-style runner. “
“For anybody with children or canine, it is a lot safer with a runner,” he defined. “We might take it off sooner or later, however for now it will likely be there and it will likely be lovely.”
